What Is It?

• Treetop Adventure Park is an outdoor obstacle course consisting of a series of tree platforms linked together by a variety of bridges and zip lines. All participants are outfitted in full-body harnesses and helmets and connected to either a Saferoller continuous belay system or a Smart Belay system. The first of its kind in California, the courses at Treetop Adventure Park can be anywhere from 15 to 50 feet in the air.
• Tahoe Via Ferrata is the newest outdoor adventure excursion from Alpenglow Expeditions, located on the iconic Tram Face at Palisades Tahoe. Via Ferrata is a protected hiking and climbing experience where guests are guided by a professional mountain guide and safely attached to the rock using permanent steel anchors and cables. With two distinct routes, participants can choose between half- or full-day experiences in a group or private session.

Where Can I Find It?

• Treetop Adventure Park has three locations in North Lake Tahoe:
  • Tahoe City, located at the Granlibakken Tahoe resort.
  • Palisades Tahoe/Olympic Valley, built into the hillside facing the Shirley Canyon.
  • Tahoe Vista, located within the North Tahoe Regional Park.
• Tahoe Via Ferrata tours start and finish at the Alpenglow Expeditions office in The Village at Palisades Tahoe.

• Treetop Adventure courses are sorted by difficulty levels: green for beginner, blue for intermediate, and black for advanced.
