Cedar Glen Lodge will celebrate kindness during the Western States Lodging and Management 10×30 Kindness Challenge. The property will host a a toy drive for the staff at Tahoe Forest Hospital to pass out to children being treated at the hospital or family members of patients. Donations will be accepted from Dec 1. – Jan. 31 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the hotel lobby.

Cedar Glen Lodge is part of Western States Lodging and Management (WSLM), a relationship-first management and development firm focused in hospitality, senior living and multifamily housing. WSLM is in the midst of a campaign to complete 1.5 million acts of kindness this holiday season. The 10×30 Kindness Challenge begins with WSLM’s 5,000 associates, who are invited to complete 10 daily acts of kindness..

Combatting the “holiday blues” is a driving force for the 10×30 Kindness Challenge. A 2021 study by ValuePenguin indicated that 55% of Americans experience the holiday blues. Many said their loneliness is worse than last year.
